50 Companies with Great Maternity Leave

To be a successful, forward-thinking company that is attractive to potential Millennial employees, competitive maternity leave is now a must.

Maternity leave has been a huge topic of discussion in recent years when talking about the benefits companies should and need to offer. Tech companies first made the news as they began to lengthen their maternity leaves to stay competitive, offering as much as 6 months or a year of paid leave.

A lot has changed since we first launched this list back in 2014.

Yes, the United States remains the only country in the world without a policy for providing paid leave to new moms after child birth. But 12 weeks paid leave and job protection is no longer a novelty – it’s practically table stakes as enterprises invest in gender diversity and prioritize family-friendly benefits as part of their employee value proposition.

With the employee loyalty it brings, more and more companies across all industries have found reducing churn and improving engagement is well worth the investment in maternity leave.

Here are 50 companies with some of the best maternity leave policies.
